Engineering geology and engineering geological survey are the first and important stage of construction works, which provide a complex exploration of geological, hydrological and ecological conditions of the construction site. These surveys include relief exploration as well as study of seismotectonic, geomorphological and hydrogeological processes; subsurface geology and drawing up a forecast of probable changes of geological conditions and the way how a construction will interact with geological environment.
Engineering geological surveys are necessary for project preparation for new constructions as well as for reconstruction and major repairs of buildings and constructions. Reliability of project documentation and, in the end, cost efficiency of the whole architectural design fully depend on quality of the surveys, on reliability of the data received after soil and monolith tests and on correctness of their interpretation in the cameral report.
Geological engineering surveys include:
- previous data collecting and data processing;
- route observations;
- geological engineering well-boring or prospect-hole sinking;
- geodetic survey and well tie;
- geophysical surveys;
- field surveys of soils (static and dynamic probing);
- hydro geological surveillance;
- soil and undersurface water chemical tests;
- exploration of the soils of existing building and construction foundations;
- cameral data processing;
- drawing up a forecast for changes in geological engineering conditions;
- assessment of danger and risks from geological and geological engineering processes;
- drawing up a technical report on geological engineering conditions of the area.

Our auto park includes drilling rigs URB-2A2, UGB-1BC and static surface probing device C-832 M. Our laboratory is equipped with modern devices and software and certified in accordance with requirements of the State Department of Construction of Russia.

Work content is identified in the survey program on the basis of the customer’s requirements, stage of designing, complexity of geological engineering conditions and responsibility level of buildings and constructions.
